irchard & associates is a virtual clinic providing treatment and support to those struggling with sexual dysfunction
Directed by Dr Thaddeus Birchard, founder of the Marylebone Centre and the Association for the Treatment of Sex Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC), the practice also provides professional training for therapists and counsellors.
As restrictions lift we will continue to see clients remotely, although we hope to offer face-to-face sessions in the very near future.
If you are look advice or support with sexual addiction, we can arrange an online assessment. Treatment options include individual and/or group therapies and we are currently organising a new recovery support group.
Our continuing clients can find all the same information available from the previous Marylebone Centre website, and can now book sessions online.
For any other enquiries please contact our practice administrator Raj Khera or phone 07949 244582.

books, websites & support groups relating to
Sex Addiction
Sexual addiction describes the experiences of ordinary people who feel that their sexual lives are driven by a compulsion.
Love Addiction
Love addiction is a term that describes what it feels like to be caught in a cycle of preoccupying, repetitive romantic thoughts, fantasies, and behaviours.
Internet Pornography
With its easy access and the way it triggers the brain’s circuits to compulsively seek the ‘hit’ of a reward, internet pornography can become a sexual addiction.
Relationships & Sex Addiction
Partners support and information about sexual addiction too. Part of this support is setting boundaries, charting an acceptable way forward, and gaining insight into their roles and how these relate to their addicted partner.
Diversity of Sexual Practice
What we find sexually arousing varies greatly from person to person. We receive messages about what is ‘normal’ and may worry that what we find arousing does not fit what we have been told is ‘acceptable.’
